Terms of Use

Welcome to PrePaired. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PrePaired website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using PrePaired, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use PrePaired

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use PrePaired. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.

You may only maintain one account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@prepaired.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

PrePaired offers identity verification features. Verification badges indicate that a member completed our verification process at a point in time; they do not guarantee future behavior, intentions, or identity in every circumstance.

3. Community Guidelines

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, defame, or harm another person
• Post false, misleading, or impersonated profiles or content
• Solicit money, promote commercial services, or spam other members
• Share another person's private information without consent
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Circumvent safety features, including Date Guardian and check-in tools
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse our systems or AI features

We may investigate violations and take action — including warnings, content removal, suspension, or permanent ban — at our sole discretion.

4. Matching, Dates & The Encounter™

PrePaired uses compatibility tools, including AI-assisted matching and curated date planning features ("The Encounter™"), to help members connect in person. Suggestions are informational only. We do not guarantee compatibility, chemistry, safety, or relationship outcomes.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, including communications, meetings, and dates. Always use your best judgment and take reasonable precautions when meeting someone in person.

5. Date Guardian & Safety Tools

Date Guardian, date codes, check-ins, and related safety features are designed to support safer meetups. They are supplemental tools, not emergency services. In an emergency, contact local authorities immediately.

By using safety features, you consent to sharing selected date details (such as time, location, and partner information) with trusted contacts you designate.

6. Feedback & Reputation

Post-date feedback helps build community accountability. You agree to provide honest, respectful feedback and not to submit retaliatory, false, or discriminatory reviews. We may display aggregated ratings and reputation indicators on your profile in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Content You Share

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant PrePaired a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to share your content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

8. Paid Features & Subscriptions

Some features may require payment. Prices, billing cycles, and renewal terms will be presented before purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the instructions provided at checkout and applicable platform rules (Apple App Store, Google Play, or web billing).

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other members, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPAIRED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not conduct criminal background checks on all members unless explicitly stated for a specific feature. You are responsible for your offline conduct.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPAIRED AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEMBERS.

12. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Except for qualifying small claims matters, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, not class actions, unless you opt out within 30 days of account creation by emailing legal@prepaired.com with subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out."

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law applies.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
